Showing Frustration

Cats have a strong urge to hunt. Therefore, when they can’t get a hold of the unidentified flying object of their interest, they feel immense frustration. Unsurprisingly, that is common in indoor cats, since their hunting ground is much more limited than that of the outdoor cats.

If your cat sees a potential prey while looking through the window, but it’s unreachable, it will chirp, chatter, meow, and do everything in its power to get to it. It might even turn to you for help, in hopes that you will catch it together. In such cases, you could either try to help with the hunt or try shifting your cat’s attention to another, more accessible object, such as a toy.
